I had a dream where I left my bike on a ferry, so I ran after it to find it again.

When I got to the ferry, I couldn't find the place where they kept the bikes, and the boat was full of people eating because apparently it was a really high-class restaurant too. With carpet, red tablecloths and candles too.

I couldn't find my bike in the end, and when I got off the boat, I was in a really, REALLY shady city. The first thing I saw was an empty street and a building sign that had a photo of boobs.

I was freaking out, so I went into a store and saw a few women walking around in a maid cosplay or vinyl bodysuits. Everything in the kitchenware section was lined with fur @_@;;

It was like Stripper!Wal-mart.

Moved to a new house.

It's FREAK'N COLD D: D: D: Apparently the previous owner thought we needed new tiles but not insulation.

I can hear opera music from next door in my room. Thank God it's good music llD

So yesterday I found out that the office is moving to Seattle.

In my last entry, I was freaking out 'cause it somehow felt like I was getting laid off again, even though they said that they'd contact me if they had any jobs for me even after they moved. And I'm not even a full-time employee llD;;; (I was the ~~little sister~~ contractor who came in about three times a week)

I really like that company :<

But hey, at least I got to meet awesome people and realize that yeah, even though I didn't realize it, I really like these people :3

Went to meet my church kids last Saturday and I had an epiphany.

I can't have my Sunday squish-fest anymore D:

I know that I have to be all politically correct at work, so I can't hug people at random there like I did at my old church... (despite all the drama that goes on, it doesn't affect the kids 'cause adults don't seem to care what goes on there)

Still in the process of moving, but the good news is that we might be able to move into an actual house in a few weeks or so :3

My parents and I walked around the apartment we're staying @ ATM (moved out the hotel with the worst mattresses in the world) and walked by a stream that had a trail off the paved path.

We went pretty deep and ran into a pile of bags and a mattress with blankets that were arranged too neatly to be considered as someone's secret dumping site.

Came to me as sort of a surprise and sort of not (I expected a dead body. Apparently I've been watching too much Law and Order/CSI).

Odd how little we need to survive.

Even odder is how much more we need to feel satisfied.

When I clean my room, sometimes I find a little piece of paper or trinket from the past that reminds me how times have changed.

Train tickets have gone up a lot. And that I used to ride the MUNI before I decided it wasn't worth the extra $1.25 (now $2). Resumes of friends I haven't seen since graduation, letters of friends I haven't called since high school, character designs I haven't touched since middle school, and an elementary school yearbook of a kids I don't remember being friends with.

In the end, I'm the only person who actually thinks it's worth something. Even though it just sits in my room collecting dust.

Well... at least it's not going to collect dust anymore.
